International Schools Software Competition (ISSC)

The ISSC fosters the development of computer competence among young people in the region. In addition to this, it provides the opportunity for participants to gain a better understanding of the culture and lifestyle of each other’s country. The interaction participants have with each other before and after the competition provides them with the opportunity to network with each other, build friendships and learn from each other.

We aim to inspire and encourage the next generation to pursue a career and further study within the rapidly growing IT and technology industry.

Executive Council Meetings

SEARCC holds Executive Council meetings to gather members from across the region to collaborate, share and build relationships with each other.

Global ICT awards

Annual Conference

The  South East Asian Regional Computer Confederation (SEARCC) conference typically involves following key activities; SEARCC Gala dinner, The Global ICT Awards, International Schools Software Competition (ISSC) and SEARCC Executive Council meeting. 

Apart from in-person conferences, SEARCC hosts virtual conferences with content being made available on-demand post conference. The “Digital Leadership Beyond COVID“, in 2021 conference featured keynotes from Mike Hinchey – President IFIP, Kumar Parakala – President GHD, Ahmad Zaki Abu Bakar – President MNCC and Mahendra Samarawickrama – Manager Data Science Australian Red Cross; and moderated by Nick Tate – President SEARCC.
